What is your opinion about excessive dependence on narco analysis in criminal investigation these days?Doesn't narco analysis violate Article 20(3)?

As long as the drugs used in narcoanalysis such as sodium pentothal do not cause harm to the accused person's health,it may continue as an investigative tool because ,in certain cases, they do provide valuable leads. However the results of such analyses on their own cannot form dependable evidence.

If narcoanalysis counts as violation of right against self-incrimination,a whole lot of other measures such as fingerprints, DNA test and forensic odontology all constitute violation of that right.
